My Design Philosophy

I like to say that I have been in this business my whole life. I grew up in my family's home furnishings business in the Chicago area, so my passion for interior design was sparked at an early age.

While at the University of San Francisco earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, I also studied interior design at the Academy of Art. I began my career in our family business, experiencing all aspects of managing a business in the home furnishings and design industry. My family’s business, unfortunately, closed during the recession, so I launched my own interior design business.

With 30+ years of design expertise, my goal is to collaborate with my clients to discover their unique style to truly capture their own interests and “lifestyle”, then create designs that meet their specific requirements both aesthetically and functionally.

My experienced perspective, encompassing all styles, periods, and genres, helps me to create distinctive, beautiful spaces, combining design flair with comfort and practicality in my projects.

I am a member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and IDS (Interior Design Society).
